An ongoing saga of life on the Oregon Trail generally and at York's General Store specifically for the man and ox.

Wes: Hey, Ollie. Did you know that Yorks sells cannon shells now?

Ollie: No, I did not!

Wes: Yeah, they look just like huge shotgun shells.

Ollie: Wes, those are not cannon shells. They are thermos bottles.

Wes: Thermos bottle. What is that?

Ollie: Well, you know. It is kind of like a canteen except when you put something hot in it, it keeps it hot and when you put something cold in it, it keeps it cold. York's has several different brands and styles. They even have camo thermos bottles with matching cups.

Wes: Sounds like we could have used one of those on the Oregon Trail. Uh, Ollie. This thermos thing must be pretty smart!

Ollie: How is that, Wes?

Wes: How else would it know to keep the hot things hot and the cold things cold!
